December 4, 2024 is the 11th National Constitution Day of China. In order to further enhance the constitutional awareness of the community masses, the theme of "vigorously carrying forward the spirit of the Constitution and promoting further comprehensive deepening of reform" is closely followed, so as to bring the spirit of the Constitution closer to the masses and their hearts. On December 3, 2024, at the invitation of Sha Shi Village, Baijiao Town, Doumen District, Zhuhai City and Da Hu Community, Pingsha Town, Jinwan District, Zhuhai City, Zhou Lihong, a lawyer of the Institute, held a lecture on "learning the Constitution and speaking the Constitution" for villagers, and brought a lively and profound lesson in rule of law education to community villagers.

From November 5 to November 10, 2024, the Seventh China International Import Expo (hereinafter referred to as the "China Import Expo") was held at the Shanghai National Convention and Exhibition Center. For the purposes of further strengthening the construction of the foreign-related lawyer talent team in Guangdong Province and improving the legal service ability of Guangdong lawyers in the field of foreign-related intellectual property protection and digital economy, from October 9, 2024 to October 18, 2024, the Guangdong Foreign-related Lawyer Talent Seminar, sponsored by the Department of Justice of Guangdong Province and the Guangdong Lawyers Association and undertaken by the China University of Political Science and Law, on Foreign-related Intellectual Property Rights and Digital Economy Law, was held in Beijing. Zheng Zhou, Deputy Director of the Lawyers Work Management Office of the Department of Justice of Guangdong Province, Song Nailong, Executive Dean of the Central School of Political Science and Law of China University of Political Science and Law and Dean of the School of Continuing Education, Zheng Yongji, Executive Deputy Dean of the Central School of Political Science and Law of China University of Political Science and Law, attended the opening ceremony. A total of 120 foreign-related lawyers from all places in Guangdong Province attended the training. Among them, the lawyer Feng Yuan of Jinpeng Jiayi (Hengqin) Joint Law Firm attended and successfully completed his studies.

To further strengthen labor law supervision, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of workers, build harmonious labor relations and serve high-quality development. Recently, the Trade Union Working Committee of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the Zhuhai Municipal People's Government (hereinafter referred to as the "Working Committee of the Municipal State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission") issued a notice on the establishment of the Labor Law Supervision Committee.

To better leverage the important role of prosecutorial hearings in assisting legal supervision, deepening judicial transparency, and ensuring judicial fairness in the cooperation zone. Recently, the Procuratorate of Hengqin Cooperation Zone held the first appointment ceremony and initial training meeting for procuratorial hearing officers. A total of 19 legal workers, professionals, grassroots representatives, and others from all walks of life were appointed as procuratorial hearing officers. Among them, our lawyer Chen Xiaofei was hired as the first prosecutor hearing officer of the Hengqin Ao Deep Cooperation Zone Procuratorate and participated in the initial training meeting.
